The goblinoid's brow collided with the Scarlet Ram's pointed chin with a sickening crack. Her head snapped back from the blow, and she placed one hoof back to steady herself. For a brief moment it seemed as if the faun was staggered, but her look of shock twisted into a coy smirk.
Her free hand lashed out to grab hold of the goblinoid, her other hand still gripping Bugbear's sword arm. The Scarlet Ram hoisted Bugbear right off the ground with ease that defied even her muscular figure. The Ram held him by the collar above her head to the roars of the crowd, her arm rippling with strength that couldn't be anything less than supernatural.
"You're a scrappy little fighter," the faun said, looking up at Bugbear with an impish smile. Her orange eyes seemed to glow in the sunlight. "Now what the hell was that you said about me earlier? 'Wobbly little deer?'"

Bugbear only bellowed in response. He seemed incapable of intelligent reply now, so great as his rage. His forehead had been split open by the champion's chin, so blood dripped down his face, forcing his left eye closed. He almost seemed an eyeless beast, ready to sacrifice everything to try and avenge his humiliation.
With a hoarse grunt, the hobgoblin swung a short leg at Phanna, trying to strike her chest and right shoulder...

The blow struck true, causing the faun to unceremoniously drop the hobgoblin. However, before Bugbear could seize the opening, a shrill whistle filled the ears of the two warriors. Phanna instinctively knew what that meant: a penalty.
"'Ey!" The burly orc bellowed, stepping into the ring. "Don't think I didn' see that, Bugbear!"
The grizzled referee pushed himself up next to Bugbear, before he struck the Hobgoblin on the forehead with his wooden staff with enough force to stagger him.
"No aimin' fer head blows! Under NO circumstances!"
The referee hobbled back over to the side of the ring, before he shouted, "Resume th' match! An' this time, keep it clean!"

"Bugbear just cannot catch a break!" The announcer boomed. "Not only is the Scarlet Ram outclassing Bugbear in every relevant way, his attempts to play dirty only backfire against him! It's gonna take a real miracle for him to find a leg back into this!"

Ignoring the opening presented to her, Phanna took a couple of paces backwards in a display of sportsmanship, giving the staggered hobgoblin time to climb back to his feet and ready himself. She directed her attention towards the crowd around her for the moment, basking in the cheers and insults thrown her way.

Bugbear, head swimming from both his ill-fated headbutt and the swift blow from the referee, pointed accusingly at Phanna. Or at least where he though she was. He was off by a few feet.
"H-... I-... She clearly hit my head with her chin!"
The crowd began to boo at the feeble excuse, and the hobgoblin turned to bear his teeth at them with a roar. A few boos turned into mocking laughter or amused cheers. Likely not thinking straight between the head trauma and the fury of public humiliation, the proud fop spun around to Phanna- where she actually stood this time- and simply charged her, trying to drive the bulk of her weight straight into her midsection like a living spear...

The powerful half-satyr caught Bugbear as he slammed into her, using her opponent's momentum to maneuver behind him. She slid a brawny right arm securely around his neck and pushed at the hobgoblin's shoulder with her left, allowing her right hand to grab her left bicep. Phanna locked her left hand behind Bugbear's head, securing him firmly in her hold. Even as the hobgoblin thrashed and fought against her, Phanna took a moment to ensure her hold was properly applied. Then she she gave a gentle squeeze.
Bugbear felt the pressure of the faun's arms against the sides of his neck tighten. He could briefly feel his heartbeat pounding in his own head and his eyeballs bulging as blood-pressure built in his head. Green spots appeared in his peripheral vision, quickly closing in on the center of his field of view as darkness overcame him...

"AND IT IS OVER!" The announcer roared. "Bugbear gave it his best, but it just wasn't enough against the GOAT, THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME! THE CHAMPION OF THE FAE, THE SCARLET RAM PREVAILS!"
The crowd roared with applause as Bugbear's frame went limp in Phanna's grasp. A few boo'd at Bugbear for his performance, and a few others tried to drown out the noise of the Scarlet Ram's fans, but it was a noise that would not be drowned out.
"If her fans were silenced, the rocks would sing her praises! Scarlet Ram, you may leave the arena with Bugbear. Our next match might not have superstar power behind it, but it will be just as explosive! RACHEL VS PRIMA AND KREPIE!"
From the sidelines, the twins had watched the fight with earnest. "Bugbear was underwhelming. The faun looks strong." Prima said.
"Strong by herself, but not against us both, I assume?"
"Yes. Together, we are unrivaled."
On the other side of the sidelines, the towering woman simply kept silent, and watched, the only noise that came from her was an additional piece of candy thrown into her mouth to chew...

The faun's tail slapped the floor at the announcer's name calling, but Phanna otherwise gave him no notice. She hoisted Bugbear up to bring him to the medical tent outside the arena, leaving the place barren for the next fighters...

Rachel looked visibly frightened by the bout that had occurred. The young girl visibly quaked in fear, clutching Stella closely to her body. Hopefully she the two girls she had to fight weren't tough and strong like Phanna, or mean and scary like Bugbear...
Ryvann clapped as the fight came to a close. Served that asshole goblin right for being so obnoxious to everybody. But now she really had to wonder - just how good WAS Phanna?

Down into the pit the twins descended. Prima and Krepie took hold of their robes, and removed them. The full form of the twins was visible for all to see, and they were near identical, both with long hair that flowed from black roots to white tips. The horned one had torn shorts and a short yellow tank top on, while the hornless one had a long checkered skirt with a matching shirt.
"We have here some newcomers, some fresh blood from the south." The announcer boasted. "A first in the Xue Club history, a double team effort! People say snakes are slimy, but they're nothing to these gals! With many wins followed by a current losing streak, can they turn the tide in their favor? Let's give it up for PRIMA AND KREPIE!"
A few shouts came their way, and the twins smiled and waves. Yet, there were many more murmurings and whispers, people confused as to them being a team, wondering just who exactly they were, and why only one of them had horns.
"Focus." Prima said. "Even if our adversary is weak like Bugbear, we cannot take them easy."
"I am focused and ready, no matter what." Krepie responded.
"And their opponent! She's a cute sweet thing with a potent helper! She has her reasons to be here and win, and damned to hell and back no matter what gets in her way! Is she just a sweet young thing, or is she the reincarnation of The Crimson Lotus? Only one way to find out! RACHEL TAKES TO THE STAGE!" The announcer screamed at the top of their lungs.

The crowd cheered and hollered as Prima and Krepie entered the ring. At the announcement of the second fighter, the crowd cheered and hollered some more, looking forward to seeing who this new blood was. But soon, there was confusion: nobody had emerged from the tent yet!
Peeking through the opening of the tent, Rachel quaked with anxiety.
"I-I'm scared, Stella," Rachel stammered, holding back the urge to cry. "Wh-what if they hurt me bad?"
"Don't worry, I'll be there with you every step of the way," Stella whispered back to her master.
Though still quivering in fear, Rachel nodded slowly to Stella. With a cautious step, Rachel emerged from the tent and stepped down into the ring, her stance shaky. Stepping into the ring across from the duo, Rachel held her trusty flower friend tight, who quickly began to coil roots around Rachel's arm and adopt a pose of its own.
Stepping in from the side of the ring, the big burly orc from before positioned himself between the duo, looking towards the two of them.
"I don't think I need t' recite the rules to the two a' you," the orc said to Prima and Krepie before turning his gaze to Rachel, who let out a frightened yelp in response. The orc couldn't help but let a small chuckle escape his lips before continuing. "I'm assumin' ya heard the rules from the last match, ya?"
Stella shouted, "Yep! Heard them loud and clear, big guy!" Rachel nodded fervently in response, but her face betrayed deep fear despite her agreement.
Seeing the girl's obvious distress, the burly orc gave the girl a reassuring clasp on the shoulder. "Don't worry, if ya keep to the rules, you'll be fine. An' if the two of'em rough ya up too much, I'll keep'em in check. Got it?"
"O-okay, sir," Rachel replied.
With a final pat on the shoulder, he lumbered to the sidelines and gestured to the announcer. "The teams is ready."

As the crowds cheered, Phanna emerged from the medical tent. Bugbear had just woken, little worse for wear, and the faun could rest easy knowing no serious damage had been done.
She joined Brutus's side, peering over the heads of the crowd as she watched Rachel and her opponents.
"Good luck out there, kid," she murmured.

The twins nodded, and looked at the girl. What had the announcer said before? The Crimson Lotus?
"Krepie, perhaps some restraint is needed. This isn't the Deep Colosseum."
"Yes, Prima. It isn't. Restraint is good."
"AND LET THE MATCH BEGIN!" The announcer shouted.

Rachel's quivering stance didn't move initially, but it turned out she didn't have to: Stella was more than willing to make the first move for her.
"Take this! SEED VOLLEY!" Stella hollered, splaying her petals wide, before a sudden, violent barrage of seeds fired out like a machine gun towards Prima and Krepie...

The twins were quick to separate themselves into opposite directions. Prima went left, while Krepie went right. However, Krepie was just a tad slower than her sister, and the seeds struck her, leaving bruises on her hand and thigh.
However, this gave Prima a prime opening. She moved in, her right fist primed back to be punched forward into Rachel's stomach...

Rachel let out a yell of fear as the fist came towards her. There's no way she was going to be able to avoid it, Prima was just too fast! Rachel closed her eyes and braced for terrible pain...
But she was surprised when the blow was surprisingly cushioned. When Rachel reopened her eyes, she saw that roots had extended from Stella and created a barricade around her stomach, absorbing the blow for Rachel!
"I told you, I got you!" Stella said, turning to briefly face Rachel. Turning back to Prima, Stella fired another volley of seeds, making sure to aim for below the head...

Prima bared her fangs as the seeds pelted her neck and chest. They stung, and the pain was enough to force her back.
Rachel felt her feet be swept out from under her. Krepie had moved in behind her and had swung her feet into the back of Rachel's knees. Krepie gripped the ground with her hands, and used her momentum to swing her feet down at her hands holding the plant...

"Aaaah!" Rachel yelped as she had her feet swept out from under her, causing her to fall hard onto the arena ground. Her hat flew off her head from the impact, causing her hair to spill across the floor. Dazed from the impact with the ground, Krepie's swift kick went unchallenged, eliciting another yelp of pain from the young girl. Her hands let go of Stella as she reflexively pressed her hands to her chest. However, Stella was not so easily pulled from her master: the plant had created a network of roots to keep herself attached to the girl!
"Hey, that's not very nice!" Stella shouted, before the flower unleashed a cloud of pollen into the air around Krepie, attempting to confuse the girl long enough for Rachel to get back to her feet...

Krepi's eyes narrowed and she brought a hand up to her face to keep the pollen from affecting her eyes. At the same time, she moved herself over the downed girl, and pushed her hands to the side.
And Prima was fast to jump to the chance. She moved in, to personally pry Stella from Rachel's hand.
"This teamwork! Rachel, or rather her flower, is giving it everything it has, but it's two vs one, and Stella here just doesn't have enough to keep both of the twins at bay! This is looking rough for the flower girl!" The announcer boomed.
