Worst History: Siar. Her history is ripped straight out of basic selkie lore, lol.
Worst Design: Probably Trila Boddy. Her design is ripped straight from her
token on roll20. An honorable mention goes to Devika Harrison, though. She was originally created as a minor character for the RP chat, and I casually gave her Kyra's original design from the UCA days. When I brought the old draft of that character to CC and changed the name to Kendra, I made her Devika's identical twin as a homage to that.
Worst Personality: Mao Yaoting. He and Max were created on the exact same day, both springing to mind under the same circumstances: a long but cozy film shoot, and as a result they overlap with a lot of similar personality traits. Max came first, though, so it's Mao that gets listed here. I've been working a bit to separate Mao from Max.
Least Original: In terms of character archtypes, probably Mahendra Rattan. He's a strong and wise mentor figure, like Dumbledore and Ben Kenobi and Gandalf. Least he's not an elderly white dude, though.
Least Badass: Honestly, I think Weschler. She's got her own skills, but I doubt they'd come to use ina survival situation, and she never does anything especially brave or daring in canon. I have plenty other non-combatants, but they still tend to have some spunk to them.
Best History: This was a hard one, but I think I'm going to pick Hartwin Frie. His ties to Weschler and Saberdex Industries are unique to him and thanks to his history he's brought some pretty huge changes to the table, despite being a supporting character.
Best Design: I have a fondness for Max Zabinski – and I don't just mean her boots. She's one of my few characters with an "ideal costume" for one thing, with a fairly distinctive color pallet of black and purple. I also think her facial profile: face shape, eyes, hair color and style, is one of the more recognizable and unique of my human characters.
Best Personality: Kyra Fox takes this. As Hayes mentioned with Vee, I have enjoyed writing for her the most. I've also dived pretty deep into her inner psyche which has given her a more nuanced and complicated personality than most of my other characters. She's also a lightning rod for conflict of all sorts, generally due to either her die-hard beliefs or her eccentric and outgoing nature.
Most Original: Probably Trila Boddy. She was created as an NPC for a DnD campaign I'm building. I'll be honest, I'm not 100% sure how she came to be. I know I had a base concept: A wizard who lives in a remote mansion and likes riddles. I
think Trila came out as a result of me fooling around with tokens and created a "Rock Golem" with an electric guitar. I fell in love with that idea, and I think Trila was developed as a direct result of that. What kind of character would be crazy enough to build and own a "Rock" Golem? Now she's not only a fairly important cornerstone of the campaign, she's a really unique and fun take on the wizard cliche of the fantasy genre as a whole, and her inventions grow wackier the more I developed her.
Most Badass: No, it's not Nyvanna. She's powerful, sure, but I don't think a character needs to be the strongest to be the most badass. I was going to give this to Alondra Melo Vaz. In canon she's led the charge and won against global governmental bodies to bring change to oppressive systems within the SEDD, stood up to and defied deific figures such as The Seed, and escaped Tartarus without the aid of The Seed, a feat that should have been impossible for humans. Alondra gets this because more than any other character I have, she has the raw determination to succeed against impossible odds when she puts her put down.

At Hayes' request:
Best Design: Bes. I might be persuaded by the awesome Heromachine rendition of her, though.
Best Personality: I'd have to give it to Sam, in my opinion. She's an interesting character with a lot of depth once you get her talking.
Most Original: I'd have to give it to Ravenel. Her backstory is very unique (I think she or Caden would win best History as well), if pretty sad, and I haven't really seen a character concept like her.
Most Badass: Really tough call between Blasa, Lark, and Dani. So what the hell, I'll list all three! Blasa is admirable for not only the work she does for her people and the hardships she's endured fighting for what she believes is right, but because she hasn't let either of this diminish her views of the opposite sex. Many people would cave really quickly to distrust or hate. Lark similarly has absolute conviction in her moral code and isn't afraid to stand up against mighty empires to fight for what's right. And Dani is impressive simply due to how well off she is psychologically, given her curse. Most grown men would have fucking
broke in the first week, and Dani, a little girl when she was first bit, is still holding on strong.
